Brief Descriptions of each element

Milestones are earned through regular participation, assistance and leading of activities. This will occur on the regular meeting nights and weekend activities. The leaders are all over this and with regular attendance, your youth member will achieve all 3 milestones!

Special Interest Areas - These badges are earned by the youth member when they undertake a project. These are generally done at home. The links on the left hand side will give you specific details for your youth member's current section and project ideas!
Outdoor Adventure Skills are our outdoor activities including camping, hiking, canoeing, bike riding and many more! For the younger sections all of this will be done at regular meeting nights and on weekend activities, however for our older sections, there may be some additional activities needed.

When the time comes, the leadership course, adventurous journey and personal reflection are all activities that your leaders will discuss with you and explain the requirements. The leadership course tends to be a day or weekend activity. While the adventurous journey and personal reflection involve a little more planning from your youth member!
